Making provision for SAAM's ongoing viability

The South Australian Aviation Museum Foundation

The Trustee for the SAAM Foundation is incorporated as The South Australian Aviation Museum Pty Ltd.

It is a proprietary company, registered in South Australia, and owned by the South Australian Aviation Museum Inc.

It is registered by the Australian Taxation office as a Deductible Gift Recipient to receive donations that are tax deductible to donors.

The SAAM Foundation operates as a Public Ancilliary Fund covered by Item 2 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997, and is established by an Australian Charities & Not-for profit Commission compliant trust deed. It must satisfy all the ongoing compliance obligations imposed by the ATO, the ACNC and the Public Ancilliary Fund Guidelines 2011.

It exists solely for the purpose of soliciting and investing donations to enable us to anticipate and provide for the funding needs of the Museum over and above its capacity to generate income from its day-to-day activities..
